About the Artist

Located in Palmyra, Virginia

 

Daughter of a creative salesman and a musical housewife, I was born in Hollywood, California in 1956, raised in Seattle, Washington, Westport, Connecticut and Dallas, Texas. Earned a BFA from School of the Worcester Art Museum and University of Massachusetts. Served 2 year apprenticeship at Johnson Atelier Technical School of Sculpture, formerly in Princeton, NJ now in Hamilton, NJ at Grounds for Sculpture.

Raised three children while I worked at Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, NJ and Mount Saint Mary Academy, Watchung, NJ. Married to Dennis Paul Meyer, wood artist and construction craftsman. Enjoying semi-retirement and currently focusing on making art rather than teaching. Hobbies: cycling, gardening, music: jazz, bluegrass and classical, travel and reading.
